Breaking Barriers Over Spring Break: Financial Field Trips That Make a Difference

Financial Fields Fields breaking barriers to financial literacy during springbeak
Financial Field Trips

While many students spent spring break sleeping in or scrolling on their phones, a special group of high schoolers took a different path—one paved with purpose, empowerment, and financial knowledge.

Through our non-profit arm, Financial Field Trips, powered by Diapers 2 Deposits, we created a powerful experience that brought financial literacy to life for teens. Our mission? To remove the barriers that too often keep young people from understanding how money works—and how it can work for them.

FINANCIAL FIELD TRIPS: Real-World Learning. Real-World Impact.

Throughout the week, students participated in immersive Financial Field Trips designed to connect them directly with the world of money management, banking, credit, investing, and more. These weren’t your average sit-down lectures. Our students met industry experts, toured local financial institutions, and had open conversations about the real decisions they’ll soon be making—college costs, renting an apartment, buying a car, and building credit the smart way.

Support Every Step of the Way

To ensure every student could attend without added stress, we provided:

Transportation from central pickup locations

Lunches each day

Access to financial professionals who answered every question—big or small

Our students left each session with more than just knowledge—they left with confidence.

Why FINANCIAL FIELD TRIPS Matter

Financial literacy isn't just a skill—it's a form of empowerment. Unfortunately, too many young people grow up without the tools to navigate money with clarity and control. At Diapers 2 Deposits, we believe early exposure is key. By giving youth access to financial education now, we’re helping them build the habits, mindset, and vision to create wealth—not just survive.

And based on the conversations we heard on the buses back home? We know it’s working.

Stay tuned for more opportunities to partner, volunteer, or sponsor future Financial Field Trips. Let’s keep our youth on the road to riches.
